A Strategic Engagement in the Heart of Royal Belum

The Belum Rainforest Resort recently rolled out the green carpet for an exclusive group of ambassadors, treating them to a thrilling 3-day, 2-night escapade that showcased the vibrant wonders of Royal Belum and its lush ecosystem.

The excitement kicked off as the ambassadors arrived at the resort, greeted with warm smiles from the SK RPS Banun Orang Asli students and performed "Sewang Dance". Then they were treated with a simple get together, and a briefing from the Pulau Banding Foundation, led by En Zulfadhlan, and the knowledge about conservation efforts was later joined by the Perak State Corporation GM, Mr. Fong, and RIMAU and NGO iconing couple, Harun and Lara. It was like stepping into a world where nature meets dedication!

In the evening, Dato’ Hjh Fazwinna Tan Sri Mustapha Kamal organized a delightful dinner at Villa Tanjung Wan. The ambassadors enjoyed a feast that served as more than just a meal; it was an unforgettable introduction to the exquisite hospitality and stunning beauty of Belum. This marked the start of their exciting 3-day adventure through the wonders of Royal Belum!

The subsequent days were packed with immersive experiences, including visiting the Menraq patrol team, trekking through the rainforest, interacting with the Orang Asli community, and learning about on-the-ground conservation initiatives. Activities like bamboo rafting, waterfall visits, and river explorations enhanced appreciation for the biodiversity and sustainability efforts in Royal Belum. Observing elephants in their natural habitat was an added bonus for the guests. The visit concluded with a meaningful exchange of insights, leaving a lasting impression of Belum as more than just a destination, but as a living ecosystem where conservation, community, and hospitality coexist in harmony.
