We started 2025 on an excellent note by signing the MOU with Global Net Travel Sdn Bhd to develop 27 Floating Villas in the southern part of the Belum Development. This marks an important milestone in our efforts to push the boundaries of eco-tourism while staying true to our values of sustainability and innovation.
Achieving the agreed budget for this project has been no small feat, and it serves as a testament to the dedication and commitment of everyone involved. Our focus is clear this year—2025 is about performance and accountability. Salary raises will depend on KPI achievements and follow the Performance Management Process, which includes:
Goal Alignment: Ensuring individual and team goals directly support the Group’s strategic objectives and budget priorities.
Company Budget Adherence: Encouraging all departments to stay aligned with their set budgetary targets, fostering ownership and responsibility.
Performance Conversations: Promoting open and transparent discussions between team members and leaders to improve understanding and outcomes.
Team Engagement: Strengthening collaboration and engagement across all levels, emphasizing shared responsibility for success.

As I have always mentioned, profit is undoubtedly something to share with all the team members whenever the Group achieves its desired target. At the end of last year, I believe that bonuses have been given to deserving individuals, and year-end increments will also be awarded based on the Group HR's review of your agreed KPI. However, this is contingent on your approved budget this year. Remember, neither I nor Tn Haji Ahmad Khalif, the Executive Director, created these budgets—it was you. As we honor our commitments, we trust you will do the same. Let's stay focused on delivering results and maintaining the trust placed in us.

We should increase visibility and outreach for ready-to-move-in properties like Wisma Mustapha Kamal, Mercu Mustapha Kamal, and Radius Business Park. We must review our strategies, strengthen our marketing efforts, and ensure our actions match EMKAY's standards and values.
